I wouldnt take in consideration any hardmaxxes at all until at least 18 personally. Only thing i would do at your age is making sure to have a good palate width, especially in case you are a mouthbreather or have problems breathing through your nose, and also address any orthodontic problems

And of course do all the softmaxxes you can think of: posture and mewing, gym/sprintin, diet, sleep, supplements, correct chewing and swallowing, skincare, even fasting if done correctly and all that

I have a good maxilla. The only problem is the convex profile but I'll fix it in 1-2 years with braces.
I just don't know if I look good. I have good ratios (midface 1:1, Fwhr 1.85; ipd 0.465; chin to philtrum 1:2.5) but people in chats still say "it's over" "you need to do surgery"

Make sure to talk to your orthodontist about what you expect to be fixed. i also have a convex profile and I had braces, i think my orthodontist just prioritized quickly straightening the teeth over jaw functionality and aesthetic. Even my current dentist says i have a good bite, but in reality i have a clearly receded chin and overbite, so make sure to talk things out with your orthodontist
