Some of my family members are in Kabul. They say the Taliban soldiers are mostly young and aren’t that well educated
My aunt specifically mocked them for having dirty hair and clothes. She said they would walk around that city in awe since most are from villages and rural areas. Some of them have never seen a building over two storeys tall or a paved road
Funnily enough many have settled in Kabul and have already started families and have kids. Surprisingly the kids wear western clothes likes jeans and shirts which is weird considering the conservative beliefs of the Taliban

Yeah that’s definitely weird. First time I have heard of that. I did know that most of them were young so when those videos surfaced in 2021 of them doing stuff like playing on a swing, people were making fun of the absurdity of the situation until others explained these people had never seen a swing before; they were growing up in a wartorn country and didn’t have a chance to live as children. Hits you right in the feels.
