I learned the hard way. This cloth which the shoe is draped with, gets dirty very soon, and looks like shit-stains. The only way is to wash them, but it destroys the shoe.

Buy only leather ones.

Really? I didn't buy them yet. I also thought it doesn't look anywhere near 7 cm, which they claim for these shoes.

Which ones did you buy and why do you think you were shorter than the advertised height? Because the sole would compress or are they straight out scammers? They're the only elevator brand that makes somewhat decent and reasonably priced sneakers.

I bought some Grey sneakers that were 7 cms, 150 euro or so, sent them back, they told me "7cm means the distance from the height increasing layer to the shoe bottom. It doesn't mean that you will get 7cm taller when you are wearing them"

I said I know that, but I still get just one cm compared to shoes like air max, so it's pointless

Then you can subtract 2-3cm (average sole height) and you have your perceived height.
