lol i was literally just thinking about that too, back when i first learnt about psl/facial aesthetics i was astonished watching anime because i was surprised at how all the characters were drawn, INSANE compact midfaces, stupidly forward grown maxillas:
the cool, strong independent characters in anime have low set positively tilted eyebrows with that classical pct eye shape, and good undereye support with tight lower eyelids:
meanwhile the kind, weak characters who are obsessed with friendship and the power of love have light eye colors (shit coloring), higher set brows and droopy lower eyelids with a shittier pfl/facial width ratio
also after becoming blackpilled i found it hard to rewatch first season of naruto, when i was younger at first i thought all the girls liked sasuke because he was quiet and cool (i tried to copy him to try and become more popular with girls/in general jfl)
but now i realised its becuase of how goodlooking and powerfully his face was drawn, everything about his face goes with his character (coloring, eye shape, hairstyle and even voice) to make him cool and scary to the audience.
