It's been a long time since I've been active on here, I was wondering if there are users who subscribe to Dr Peat's views on hair loss, DHT, nitric oxide etc and it they've ever tried methods besides the mainstream treatments/prevention of male pattern baldness.

I've been on finasteride and oral minoxidil for several years on end now, completely stopped hair thinning and recession, in fact it seems a bit thicker than before. How would a Peater (which I consider myself to be partially) approach this issue using practical methods, supplements or lifestyle choices? Since they view DHT as safe and nitric oxide (which I presume is stimulated by minoxidil) as harmful.

Please tag users who might know, seems like kjsb..... and ChristianChad aren't on the forum anymore

Nah 🤣🤣🤣🤣i mean a recessed and badly developed skull shape , its unrelated to jaw and more related to temporal muscle use throughout ur development years , i f ur naturally born with high rounded forehead then thatw ill cause it too

raypeat things that could work for hairloss that ive seen on the forum or on twitter in no particular order:

preferably dermaroll before applying topicals so it seeps deeper into the skin

dermarolling with a longer MM like 2.0mm can help stuff get deeper , but to my knowledge nobody who is severely norwood and has a calcified scalp (like myself) has reversed their hairloss on raypeat stuff. this stuff might work if youre hovering around norwood 2, early stages of 3

Any idea why the science isn't agreed upon? I've even heard from some peaters that topical DHT can stimulate hair growth, completely contrary to the mainstream view

I've been on raypeat forum for over 6 years and i have tried a lot of shit they have said. Even ppl claiming they had regrowth, i tried their stack for years and i have had no regrowth. I am NW2A and yet it didnt do shit. They can theories all they want, and that they have found cure. Yet there is no proof and even if you try the things they tell you to, it does nothing.

I have also tried microstamping for 3 years already weekly, but i think it will only regrow if i add in minox.
