Why were justin bieber and one direction so hated? Because of their music? No. Their music was objectively good and still stands up to this day, yes there are some worse songs, but other worse artists had way less hate directed towards them comparatively.

The reason why artists like justin bieber were SO hated was simply because they were ATTRACTIVE and appealed to girls at the time. They would be obsessive and put up posters of band members and it would be JEALOUSY and the distaste towards figures girls found attractive at the time that made men hate artists like these. It wasn't girls obsessively disliking JB videos...
