So basically Im 19 and had mild norwood but my hair is incredibly thick, and i completely restored it with minoxidil.

But is there any real reason not to just microdose fin now? Just so I don't have any worries

Hard to say without knowing your growth patterns. I had peak DHT around 15-16 and stopped developing around that age so decided to go on finasteride at 20 cuz I knew I had no more growth left.

Finasteride is a medication primarily used to treat male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). The "best age" to start finasteride depends on the indication and individual circumstances.

For male pattern baldness:

1. **Efficacy**: Finasteride is most effective when started early in the hair loss process. It works better at halting or slowing down hair loss than at regrowing already lost hair.

2. **Age**: The medication is approved for use in adult men, typically those over 18 years of age. It's not recommended for women, especially pregnant women (due to potential risks to a male fetus), or children.

For benign prostatic hyperplasia:

1. **Age**: This condition generally affects older men. The decision to start finasteride will be based on the severity of symptoms and the potential benefits and risks of treatment.

..
If you're asking specifically about male pattern baldness and when most men might consider starting finasteride:

The typical age range when male pattern baldness becomes noticeable and when some men might consider treatment is between **20 and 35 years old**. However, the "best" age is subjective and varies based on individual progression of hair loss, personal concerns, and in consultation with a healthcare professional.

Keep in mind that while many start in this age range, it's essential to get a professional opinion before starting any medication.

Lol i don't think that's how it works lol

Spreading the crumbs of the pill isnt going to absorb

But i guess i could microdose topical

it is if it's in the liquid minox faggot
Bro thats not how chemistry works jfl

The finasteride would have to be fully dissolved into the liquid, it might work i just dont know if It does

Anyway i use cream to avoid the alcohol

it's definitely how chemistry works, you dissolve stuff in alcohol fgt

Not that simple "faggot"

"pro-tip as someone who works at a pharmacy: It doesn't work the way you think it does. You'd need to micronize the pills themselves and then mix them into a cream or ointment basis in order for them to be properly topically applicable. It doesn't matter that the Progesterone INSIDE the pills is already micronized, cause that just means the active ingredient is mixed with the pills other ingredients at a micronized level.

If you request a pharmacy to micronize your pills and put them into a cream, we will curse you. We can do it, but god dammit is it annoying. And expensive.

But also, don't do it yourself, you're not gonna get it small enough and you're not gonna get it mixed well enough into a basis for this process to be worth even trying"

"Even if the active ingredient is the same, that doesn't mean it's necessarily a great idea to change the route of a medication.

Tablets have other things in them designed for oral use. Sometimes they have things that mean they don't kick in immediately and take ages, or have binders your tummy is fine with but your skin wouldn't be. Topical applications also come in a variety of forms, like lotions, creams and ointments and the correct type has to be chosen for the skin. Finally, medications need special storage otherwise they can start to breakdown and not be as effective."

my dick grew until I was 20, make of that what you will
