realized what the cross symbol probably been inspired from

i was crawling thru a dark tunnel then i looked back at the light coming thru the entrance from afar , squinted at the smallish circle letting thru the light , a cross of light was seen . the protrusions from the center spread out , making it look like an angel as well.
