Your maxilla is fine you just have slight mouth protrusion.

I will actually get this fixed with braces which move both my upper and lower incisors forward (since they flat/inward) + palate expanders soon! Lifefuel tbh

Whilst those changes are good things just be aware the braces probably won’t change the folds and might even make them more apparent. The important thing is they will be due to good mouth support rather than bad mouth support like they currently are so they will age much better.

will they make the folds more appearent because the palate expanding will also stretch the skin? because to actually see these folds from the front i have to smile very hard, so the palate has to be expanded like a lot for this to happen. ik that they wont disappear, it could also be to collagen loss since im starvemaxxing... like im getting into skincare a lot more rn and im soon getting some more things which could prevent the folds from getting much worse.

Everyone has folds when they smile. If this is the case then you have no problem. If you teeth are actually tilted in like you say then the lips have less support so folds will form. If you tilt the teeth outwards folds due to lack of support will disappear. However, since your alveolar bone above your incisors is actually protruding forwards, you will still have the folds even if you straighten your teeth. It’s just that these folds are good and don’t cause bad ageing.

Basically unless your incisors are vertical and your mouth has no protrusion, you will always have folds. The difference lies in why the folds form and whether they are good or bad.

I concur (respectfully).
