Chronic bad breath (halitosis) is caused by a few factors such as
but the last one is very different
see, post-nasal drip is caused by allergies, infections, environmental conditions/factors
and maxillary recession is caused by a lack of natural craniofacial development during childhood.
which is caused because you did not hold natural tongue posture (mew) during childhood
which is further caused because you could not breathe through your nose due to allergies, infections, and any nasal obstructions.
or in other words just not having the ideal conditions to achieve natural craniofacial development.
and now since the maxilla is recessed, airways are compressed/narrow, palate is narrow, tongue too big for small mouth.
most importantly the airways are narrow so breathing through your nose is naturally more difficult.
and now the nose is smaller than it’s supposed to be.
and now imagine your turbinates in a small nose, and you live in unideal conditions
you will now have mucus accumulating in your nose, then your throat, and so on
not only will it accumulate but it will also stay in that area longer due to the narrow/compressed airways.
every day every hour every minute
bacteria will soon accumulate in the mucus because that’s one of the primary functions of mucus
then that soon turns into bad breath.
no matter how much you brush your teeth, mouthwash, tongue scrape. It’s inevitable
15 minutes later the bad breath is back
the chronic post-nasal drip will keep cursing you with “morning breath”
unfortunately i have been a victim to this all my life
all i do every day is snort and spit.
but I can’t do that all day
so the only temporary fix is to keep a pack of gum and mints in your pocket or else stacy will be instantly repulsed by the stench coming from your mouth
and thats if she even lets you talk to her…
- bad hygiene
