I would suggest using it until shaving feels easy and comfortable.

I personally wouldn't use it after that point as I don't want to lose my ability to grow a beard.

Just wondering, has it reduced your hair density or it has merely lightened and softened them

mostly softened, but there is some reduction in density. Still quite dense though
