Really depends on OPs skull and face shape

Some ppl can benefit from shorter sides and kept long on top.

OP may not be as good-looking as the models with that hairstyle/haircut.
But ya just don't do extremely short or extremely long. That only suits a handful of people

I have a somewhat long face not horsed faced, my forehead is decent not too long and not too wide. What do you recommend?

If you have curly hair tho OP, try a long top + undercut (9-12mm on sides couple cm on top) combo.

I thought the general rule for men's haircuts (that suit pretty much all guys) is longer up top and shorter sides and back? I mean obviously not a skin fade (which only looks good on warrior skulls), but less than an inch on the sides and back tapered up to a few inches on the top. Unless you are going for a slightly longer, shaggier medium-length hairstyle or to cover up big ears that stick out or something if you have them.
