Might try minoxidil first
I've consulted at one place so far, and they were willing to do a transplant, but this is what Dr Bisanga (supposedly a good surgeon) thought:
"Thank you for providing your photographs and relative information. I have discussed your case with Dr. Bisanga and he has evaluated your situation.
Chasing hair loss in younger individuals is not a good approach. At 22, your larger pattern of loss is unknown but with loss in your early 20s, then it would be expected to evolve to some degree.
Having surgery currently and then experiencing further loss behind/amongst a transplant would mean native hair and transplanted hair are not connected which would not be natural.
Dr. Bisanga does not consider candidacy in individuals younger than 24
Dr. Bisanga is an extremely ethical surgeon and has over 20 years of experience in hair restoration.
BHR Clinic are education motivated as opposed to many clinics who have a purely sales approach.
It is good to see that you have a regimen of medication in place.
From the doctors perspective, he would recommend to wait and see how any loss may progress over the coming years and to not rush into any additional surgery based on your age and minimal loss."
