Not just religion, but western religions specifically. They will make threads about how christians are fascists but yet make excuses for other religions like Islam. It makes me suspect that the atheist movement is actually just trojan horse and that it's advocates are actually just crypto-liberals.

The hilarious thing about these people is that they are so completely convinced that their ideology is scientific and ultra-rational and that their enemies are just low IQ monkeys, and yet lots of their ideology is actually just bullshit.

Consider for example their claim that religion/spirituality is useless to society. This is total bullshit. Stable families and birth rates are required precondition for society, because without them you end up with demographic collapse and ultimately your civilization just dies off. In a society where everybody is a non-spiritual atheist with no emotional attachment to any religion or nation, there is no objective reason to have children. This means that religion or at least nationalistic spiritualism IS needed, and that atheism isn't compatible with civilization.

But point this out to them and they will go fucking nuts (as evidenced by the reddit mods deleting that thread instead of allowing debate), because if they admitted this it would completely destroy their ideology. They can't accept that their ideology of individualistic hedonism isn't sustainable and merely causes a demographic decline and eventual collapse.

I'm in Turkey and probably in 10-15 years percentage of muslims were dropped from 98% to 80-90%. And its not reflected on official graphics because most young people don't change their religion in their ID due to pressure, or they don't give a fuck. A 2016 survey showed that it's dropped to 82%

After oldcels die it will be even lower. More and more people are becoming non-religious/atheist/agnostic etc.as time goes, the progress of science and availability of internet opened people's eyes on other thoughts rather than doctrines by their families. Its much more likely for a person to become atheist than become religious

The western world is slowly sliding into decay with more and more people having no future. The decline of religion was largely the result of high standard of living.
