This took place in the /r/Cornedbeefapproved subreddit, which was infamously regarded as one of the worst NSFW subreddits as the subreddit frequently contained NSFW/NSFWL posts and alot and i mean ALOT of scat content and it was ran by an infamous now banned Redditor CornedBeef666. The sub was described as the following

"NSFW content, sexual oddities and obscure content that is up to the standards of the user CornedBeef666. If it's corned beef standard please share."

The Story
On February 14, 2021 a Redditor named "saiprol" made a post onto the sub, it was detailing how she recently got a motorcycle license and she ran into the worst problem of all, her helmets felt "uncomfortable" and "caused blisters" due to pressure and because of this she decided to take matters into her own hands and perform a buccal fat removal on her own accord. For preparation she attempted to purchase a suture kit from Amazon but due to being a broke University student it declined she also watched Youtube videos made by licensed professionals and she thought it was "easy, simple and fast" which clearly never ended up being the case. Now skipping ahead down the line she went through with it collecting whatever she had in the house and performing the surgery and in the process washitting a vein or two, had nearly been fainting, had bad anaesthics, and was struggling to find the right areas. After a while in hell she finally managed to do it and the next day she ate the fat because she "didn't want to waste good food"

Title: Cut out fat in cheek and then ate it

(This was for fun. I know I can save up for a helmet, but I enjoyed doing this more)

Oof, I don't know what I have just done. I guess a bit of backstory is good. I'm taking my motorcycle licence and I love it, but the helmets are uncomfortable for me. I have chubby cheeks so they push on them and give me blisters inside my mouth (I'm not overweight, it's just genetic). I thought hey, why don't I just make my cheeks slimmer. There's a procedure, buccal fat removal, where they cut out a fat pad in your cheeks. Either way, its usually expensive and too much effort, and I thought it'd be fun to do myself. I watched YouTube videos of the procedure carried out by doctors, and they all said it was an "easy, simple, and fast procedure" so I thought hey, why not save money, time, and effort and do it myself.

Well, I started collecting materials. A hobby knife from my basement (I have not one clue whose it was, it's a shared basement), ethanol disinfectant, tweezers, anaesthetic spray stuff that you use for deepthroat (as much as I love pain, I doubted whether I could handle cutting open my cheek and pulling out the fat pad without some numbing). I tried ordering an actual mini suture kit from amazon, which had stitches, a needle, an actual medical knife, medical tweezers, but my card kept declining so I gave up.

So, fast forward two weeks, I moved country for uni and was in my own room. I finally had everything set. I spent 2 hours in the morning trying to reach the fat on one cheek but I kept almost fainting so I gave up. I had a hangover so maybe that had something to do with it. I was pissed because I couldn't find the fucking fat pad (I just didn't cut deep enough past the muscle). Either way, in the evening I tried again. Instead I used the scissors on my tiny Swiss Army knife to cut instead of the hobby knife. The anaesthetic kept wearing off so it wasn't pain free, but I eventually reached the fat. Within the first hour I came to the conclusion that there was nothing "easy, simple, and fast" about it. That shit was hard, the blood kept on covering what I was trying to see so I'd just see red inside my mouth instead of the fat. Pulling it out was a different matter entirely. It was an insanely weird sensation, like pulling a tooth but in your cheek. I cut the fat but hit a vein so hence the blood on my chin afterwards. Either way, I'm sitting here writing this with someone else's frozen dinner held to my face after just cutting it out. Took 3 hours in all for one fat pad because I didn't know what the fuck I was doing, but hey, practice makes perfect. Didn't even use any stitches.

DAY AFTER: My cheek is swollen a shit ton but that's to be expected. I saved the fat pad and decided to put it on my sandwich I had for breakfast with a little bit of pepper, because hey, I don't waste good food. It tasted a bit like the fatty part on a pork cutlet.

EDIT: People concerned over my mental health, please I don't need your 2 cents. My mental health is fine, I am not depressed or suicidal, and I don't have a body image issue. I just enjoy pain and pushing myself to my limits. If you are prepared to take the consequences of an action, then you are fine to take the action. And hey, it was fun. That is basically the only reason I do anything

in her post she attached a variety of pictures of her surgery equipment, the injury area, and most word of all the picture of her eating the fat on toast under "Pics of setup and fat" it was clearly it was not a straightforward procedure and probably very fucking messy.

Public Reaction/Conclusion
A while after, her posted gained a good amount of attention, with many speculating "you have a mental illness" or "just buy a new helmet", it was readily clear in her post she wasn't really prepared, she was a some sort of masochist, and also knew midway into the process too late that it wouldn't have been easy (comparing her to a real professional) and it was a feat of luck that she survived such a surgery to begin with. But the morbidity of all she ate her fat on a piece toast and said "it was good" which drew red flags. In the comments section she replied to a few people addressing the obvious elephants in the room with a variety of replies. Which also revealed information with her saying she is from Europe, her financial state, and her stating the few medical knowledge she has, and also future plans to repeat again on her other cheek.

Also during this time it was around Covid some people were a bit outraged since the hospitals were packed and she was.. well here doing this instead of buying a new helmet. It was also clear in the photos her cheeks weren't really that chubby which people speculated was why she might have body dismorphia. Years later as of April 10th, 2025, the subreddit has since been banned due to lack of moderation and her reddit account remains still up but its laid dormant without any posts or comments on it. This story hasn't been told around much besides in a few YouTube videos and has been mostly swept under the rug.

Posted below are the numerous comments she took the time to reply to.

>U realise that if u get an infection, u either die or have a hefty hospital bill. What you did was INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. You could have severed nerves and maybe even have that can result in PERMANENT NERVE DAMAGE. Which affects your smile, chew etc...

>saiprol: I live in Europe so healthcare is free. I can get antibiotics easily if a sign of infection turns up. But I took care to disinfect everything best I could. Either way, buccal fat doesn't grow back unless you gain weight so I think I'm good.

>How are you going to know what antibiotics to take, and eating food will increase the chances of infection. Please use a mouthwash 2-3 times a day and brush regularly no matter how painful!

>saiprol: Don't worry, I know the symptoms of an infection and how to take care of a wound. And if I do have one, the doctors here will prescribe the right antibiotics. Everything has a solution.

>wow, it actually looks pretty normal but i think it would've taste better if you cooked that thing first-well, idk if you can cook that or not actually-

>am, fucking astounded. You're my hero right now. Jesus christ. Do be mindful of infection, please. I'd hate to see you die and miss out on further antics.

>saiprol: I boiled my equipment for half an hour and used 70% rubbing alcohol to disinfect the surfaces. Tho it's the buccal cavity which takes the most time to heal, the cut has already closed up fine

>A helmet takes a while to settle to the shape of your head. Also, a weird but creative solution to your problem. I'd love to see a before and after pic when the cheek has healed. Are you planning on doing the other cheek too?

>saiprol: I am eventually planing on doing the other side. I will give the first one some time to heal though, the swelling from this kind of thing takes a while (at least a month) to completely disappear
