There’s this Reddit guy in his late 20s who’s been traveling the world for over a year, hitting more than 20 countries. I can’t remember his username, but he’s a CScel and has a remote IT job that funds his trips. All he needs is an internet connection to work, and the rest of the time, he’s out exploring. He stays in mid range hotels, cooks his own food occasionally dining out, and uses dating apps to meet and hang out with locals. For getting around, he sticks to public transport or rents bikes.

His trips are also completely unplanned—he has no idea where he’ll be tomorrow and just goes wherever the wind takes him. He’s super minimalist, doesn’t own much, and lives this carefree, YOLO-style life. He says he’s loving it—meeting amazing people, soaking in different cultures, and experiencing breathtaking places. What do you think of this lifestyle? Is this something that you would like?

I couldn’t see myself living that life unless I had a home somewhere in the US

It completely breaks away from the traditional 9-to-5 grind that people here cry about tho. Your life would be 10x more adventurous, exciting and unpredictable than the dreaded "wageslaving" that people here hate so much.

What I mean is having a house in the US to make a western salary, I’d definitely be down for a nomadic lifestyle, especially in South America and Europe.

I use the word cel for everything. He's not an incel he dates local women probably has to date down but who cares.

Would you like that tho?
why not? it seems much better than the 9-5 routine (home -> office -> home). Your life becomes more "adventurous" and you travel the whole world...

If I have a good salary, I would do it right away.

I'm a college student now, so who knows what I'll do in the future.

But it seems like a dream life. The only thing better than this would be to live off passive income or inheritances.

He needs his own place first and a good safety deposit just in case he gets fired or has some medical emergency imo. Also there's not much scope for your money to grow living such a life you have to be content with living hand to mouth which is brutal for many.

This is the ideal lifestyle. Requires a stable remote job and a good amount of money. Plane tickets and hotel costs can add up fast. Much more expensive than renting a cheap apartment with roommates.

I hope remote jobs where you have to come in less than once a week don't become too common because there will be ALOT of western competition in all of these countries if that's true, and it could be not much better than in the west.

His job is still at risk of outsourcing and automation.

true. That's why I said I would only do it if I had a good salary.

The example I gave already has a house (inherited from his parents) and must also have health insurance. so the basics are already taken care of, he can live that lifestyle at ease

He should only stop when he has a wife and children

It would be insane tbh but I wouldn't keep moving, I'd stay in one place for like 6 months then move somewhere else for 6 months

Even better if you have a house in the west that you're renting out to some 9-5 loser. Increasing the rent every year would give me dopamine spikes, even more so if it were a foid

thats not how -cel works
people on these forums add -cel to anything related to a person
so an indian guy slaying would still be called a "currycel"

The reason people that keep moving is because of Visa laws.

The longest you can stay in most countries is a month or two.

You can get a long term visa if you get a local job most of the time, or are going to school in country, but neither or those is possible if you're doing remote work.

If you're rich enough you could maybe get a place in three different countries and switch countries every month. If you do only two, you may be hopping between the countries too quickly and could get banned for abusing the visa system.

There are some, but not many countries where you can get a visa for "investing" in the country. I think it's around half a million for Thailand, with a minimum age you have to be. If you're older than 50 you can invest like 50K usd or something in Phillipines and get a long term visa, but you have to be an oldcel. The 35-50 age range visa's have been suspended for six years now, with no signs they'll unsuspend them.

I as an American can get a Mexican visa fairly easily with proof of funds that I can survive a few years there, and when that's up I can apply for a permanent visa. That's my plan, so if any other looksmaxer cels want to go to mexico with me, hit me up.
