Ive used panthenol ,green tea, azelaic acid (together and separately) among other "skin barrier repair"/ "calming redness" products and im starting to think i did something to my pigmentation somehow? i have general mild acne that ive been working on and ive fixed most of it,and now my worst skin flaw is the redness and skin texture. (its only on my nasolabial folds/smile lines exclusively. i put caffeine serum on them like 4-5 months ago and i think it might be connected to the cause of the redness?? i was super retarded then ik its useless for that :feelswhy:) smb please help me out. also it gets a bit worse if i put a strong exfoliant acid on it like the 30% aha/bha acid from the ordinary (it stings a little and gets a bit redder for a bit).
I know it isnt from using a peroxide toothpaste since i dont use one. it might be dermatitis or psiorasis or wtv its called but i doubt it since ive been using a 2% ketoconazole shampoo for a while as my facewash and i dont see why it would be acting up SPEFICALLY on my smile lines. ill provide pics if needed but i doubt anybody's gna see this thread anyways lol. my dermatologist recommended la roche posay's cicaplast balm and it did nothing but make my skin flaky. also ill probably be asking about accutane soon so if anybody thats used it reads this thread please tell me what your experience was like.

posted pictures. you cant really tell its red but it is EXTREMELY noticeable in person, fuck my brokie phone and its shitty camera. forgot to mention that the skin that im tlaking about is extremely flat (?)
like its thin or something, like vinyl nearly

ALSO i know it isnt rosacea
1. because of the location
2. because its the only place where i experience redness
