Kashmir Shaivism, a non-dualistic Hindu philosophical and spiritual tradition, emphasizes the interconnectedness of Being and Becoming. It posits that the Absolute, known as Paramasiva, encompasses both the static, foundational aspect of Being and the dynamic, creative aspect of Becoming. This understanding is crucial to grasping the nature of reality and the path to liberation within Kashmir Shaivism.
Here's a breakdown of the concepts:
- Being (Sat):
.
This refers to the underlying, unchanging reality, often associated with Shiva, the divine consciousness. It is the source of all existence, the ground of being.
- Becoming (Shakti):
.
This represents the dynamic, creative energy of the universe, often personified as Shakti, the divine feminine. It is the power that brings forth the world of experience, the process of change and transformation.
- Non-duality (Advaita):
.
Kashmir Shaivism is a monistic system, meaning it ultimately sees all phenomena as arising from and being identical to this single reality, Paramasiva.
- Liberation (Moksha):
.
The goal of Kashmir Shaivism is to realize one's true nature as this non-dual reality, recognizing that Being and Becoming are inseparable aspects of the same divine consciousness. This is achieved through understanding the interconnectedness of all things and overcoming the illusion of separation (maya).![]()
In essence, Kashmir Shaivism doesn't view Being and Becoming as separate or opposing forces, but rather as two sides of the same coin. The universe is seen as a manifestation of the divine, constantly in a state of flux and yet rooted in the unchanging reality of Shiva.
This is garbage philosophy.if shiva were shakti, there would be a 'synthesis'of how they call it themselves,of two forces which are indeed actually contradictorary, cannot exist as a unified coherent being, and would ultimately be a married bachelor....which hinduism's brahman IS.
if shiva and shakti were a coherent being, how can they relate to each other?A permanent thing cannot interact with a impermanent thing,as the two are in entirely different modes of ontology.where do the changing things come from?nothing?they arise from the unchanging?again, how can this be a unified non-dual coherent being not made of parts, and being made of parts at the same time?
if our cognitions are changing, limited etc how can the inherent essence of ourselves be unchanging and non-limited?it's impossible!
this just shows you how retarded religion is which is based on theism or monism.
they both posit a being which is coherent yet has two contradictorary states of being at the same time, and yet still 'one'lmao
enjoy life guys....it's the only one you have.
