I don't know who the retard was who invented this, probably back in the lookism.net era

but in general, the theory goes that if you eat junk food during your developmental years (puberty) you will grow taller.

yes, it is true, but you will grow both vertically with weak bones, and horizontally

The concept is that the amount of carbohydrates, fats and calories will promote growth, because of the stress on the liver, releasing insulin along with IGF1

but what would be the consensus on this?

Depending on the junk you eat, some can contain more than 300 calories in 50-70g
this would give almost 250g of white rice

It is much more valid for you to eat foods with high nutritional value, high in protein, and of course, with sufficient carbohydrates.

If you are in puberty, instead of eating 2000 calories of junk, eat 2000 calories of real food (meat, organ meats, dairy, fish, and for carbs focus on potatoes and white rice)

keep eating junk, stay 6'3, but with an incel face and totally fucked up hormones
