I don't mean religions themselves as an idea, that's not my thing. But religious people often times are so pretentious and hypocritical. Like when i think about a, let's say Christian for example, who does all kinds of sin willingly. Same kinds of people (yes ik i'm generalizing here) would judge someone off of being a fag, weird or whatnot, and basing said moral atleast somewhat on religion.

It just shows to me that 99% of 'religious' people are a meme, and don't actually base their believes off of their religions.

It's really just a matter of perspective. Because when you think about it, many people grapple with the unfairness of life, and that unfairness can be overwhelming. It’s one of the primary reasons people end up questioning their beliefs, whether they’re religious or not. When tragedy strikes, whether it's personal misfortune or witnessing broader injustices, it’s natural for someone to ask, “Why me?” or “How could God let this happen?” It challenges faith, especially in those who believe in a benevolent higher power.

And the thing is, it’s simple to maintain belief when life is going well, isn’t it? But when everything starts falling apart, and when you’re praying endlessly for help that never seems to come, faith becomes increasingly difficult to sustain. When you see terrible things happening, like children being bombed in conflicts, it’s easy to wonder, where is God in all of this?
Why isn’t God stepping in to stop such atrocities?

But maybe the problem lies in how we think about these things. If you consider God not as an all-loving being but as something more mechanical, like an algorithm, it changes the equation a lot.
In that view, God, or whatever higher force there is, isn’t necessarily about love and kindness. It's more like a set of natural laws reacting to situations in predetermined ways.
This mindset is much more in tune with Pagan spiritual beliefs, that don’t focus so much on morality but instead, on practicality.
