Its really only for wealthy people who will suffer less consequences or boring people without hobbies.
A Family seems not worth it for middle class, their will only be your job and taking care of the kids til puberty where the kids start to get a little bit more independent so you will have some time for yourself.
Who really wants this. I value my free time.
Yes its egoistical but so is having kids you do it only for your personal gain meaning some kind of emotional fulfillment.
