If status matters so much, then why is being kidnapped from the repressive king/father (an obvious allegory for patriarchy) by the handsome commoner/peasant/thief/etc such a popular trope in romance fiction? How much status does Aladdin have?
Even among redpill circles, it's popular to claim that both looks AND status matter, but I'd argue this is just a watered down version of the bluepill.
You need to understand, that 'power' doesn't mean what you think it does regarding sexual attractiveness. To women, power isn't about actual literal status (being the king, CEO, etc), but rather about LOOKING and ACTING powerful. They want a sexy alpha bad boy, which doesn't necessarily require that you have actual money or power. They'd rather fuck a broke & homeless Jeremy Meeks than the CEO of Exxon no matter how powerful that latter is.
What's even more pathetic is how statusmaxxing incels have a strong tendency to be massive narcissists/pieces of shits (probably because of insecurity). It's a joke.
