For anyone who watched Requiem for a dream . Do you believe this movie was made as an Oscar bait/ Emmy bait . Movies may be very artsy leading for them to win many awards but rfad was Too artsy I feel. It felt like a fever dream watching it . I didn't know what to think, it felt out of this world. But does it fall into Oscar bait , made just to win awards for the director?

not Oscar bait imo, I really liked it. Plus It was a movie adaptation from the book, and if you haven’t read it, it’s an even bigger fever dream than the movie itself
