Rethinking the Usual Eye Surgeries: Mediocre Results?

Description: Young man, with congenital droopy lower eyelids and bulging eyes and maxillary hypoplasia, underwent lower eyelid retraction surgery with canthoplasty (almond eye surgery), scarless orbital decompression bulging eye surgery, and infraorbital rim silicone implant. Note change from negative canthal tilt (downturned eyes) giving sad eye appearance to positive canthal tilt (upturned eyes) giving more youthful eye appearance.

What is exactly wrong here? IMO it might be lack of soft tissue but I assume that someone who’s not gray can address more things
