0.5 is strong enough for most people, but go for 1% after you've built tolerance just to be sure that you get the best results.

This is if you are white, if you have a darker complexion I wouldn't go above 0.5.

Thus a concentration above 0.5% is a high risk.

Isn't tret actually good for solving hyperpigmentation?? Or does this hyperpigmentation occur due to sun exposure after applying tret?

Do not start with any percent higher than 0.025%

Use it for at least 3 months, then upgrade if needed. Tretinoin is powerful stuff, don't fuck around with it.

Using 0.025 or 0.05 dosent make any difference in the long term since they both reach similar level of concentration on the skin but 0.05 being a bit better
