Best way to protect your facial fat pads from retina? I dont care about under eyes as theres virtually no fat under them, i am expecting retina to thicken the skin under the eye to make them less hollow, my issue is with the upper eyelid fat, i dont want to use retina then my uppereyelid fat all goes and i loose my eye hooding. Is there any way i can protect this fat above my eyelids from the effects of retina??

skip retin a use dermaroller

Please people GTFIH, debating whether to just quit retina because the fat loss kind aspect is outweighing all the good aspects to me

i don't know but that's what I'll do
The annoying thing about the situation is the fact i want to thicken the skin under the eyes as theres no fat there, but k cant afford to loose any upper eyelid fat or ill just look cucked😂

get punches in the face a lot so the skin thickens

Really? How effective is dermaroller?
I use both Retin A and Microneedling. Retin A will improve your skin quality and reduce discolouration. Microneedling can remove deep acne scars. Use Retin A if you don't have deep acne scars, application is much easier. I can't speak to supposed fat loss from Retin A. Look at before and afters and make up your own mind.

You wont lose hooding if you have compact orbitals

I wonder if maybe using retinA 3-4 times a week instead of everyday might help combat this, i think im gonna try just applying retina every monday, wednesday and friday so i dont go overboard

Just praying my fat pads dont get raped and i end up looking 10 years older🤞🤞🤞

You won't bro, people take it to look younger (y)
Cheers man, some much needed confidence, worse case scenario id have to resort to the facial fillers

OP any updates on this?

I'm in the same situation.

Im continuing with retinA, but using 3% retinol around the eye area, only using the strong stuff on cheeks and forehead area,

you dont lose any fat with retin a. If you say otherwise then give proof. Idk from where does this idea come from. I'm using tret since 1 month and I barely see changes, especially in "face fat".

People complain after like 8 months

I don't believe what people say. They saw their skin getting thinner and thinner , that's it. I can't believe it actually reduces buccal fat, otherwise there would be a known non surgical way of removing it by now.

Caution is better than nothing, plus using retinol on the eye area instead of retina is probably a better idea anyways because of how thin the skin is

Fair enough and I agree, at least a few times I applied accidentally on my undereye area and noticed afterwards irritation .

Downsize your avi with Retin-a theory.
