I used to run track and all the cross country kids on my team that were filthy at running would eat a Rice Krispy immediately after working out to optimize recovery? Is this valid to start doing in the gym for gains?

Rice krispys are fast acting carbs. Yeah it’s valid even better if you eat it before a workout like 15-30 minutes before
Your body digests it fast and gives a pretty good pump from my experience
