I used saw palmetto for a while.
Even that shit gave me weak boners for weeks. Also ejaculation with pain.
Then i quit it immediately. So after that i'm too scared to use any kind of hormone altering drug. I've never used fin.

Penis shrinkage is happened to me with saw palmetto. It was driving me crazy. If you use finasteride, you must use some other shits to neutralize effects of it.

Finasteride is used sometimes as a hormone for transgender people transitioning from man to woman. Of course this means the drug has effects of female hormones which, although they almost certainly stop balding and hair loss, cause some other things you might not want.

It stops DHT from coming from your scalp, but it works everywhere there is DHT, not only the scalp. The drug has so many side effects that you would probably want to take other hormones or drugs to counteract the effects. But if you really want to stop balding you can do it even though it is a lifetime long thing

Well i dont take it (even though the norwood reaper is knocking on my door) so i cant give you any good advice. All i know is you would want something that would keep you from growing man boobs and having extreme mood swings and losing the function of your penis.

Taking straight testosterone meds might help but they could also totally cancel out the hair growth effect, im not sure, since DHT is what finasteride stops but other testosterone meds might not mess with DHT levels.

Finnasteride will actually raise your testosterone because it keeps the testosterone from converting

some will argue that some sides occur due to the increased estrogen as well which you could take an AI

but man lowering DHT in itself will have sides and there’s nothing you can do about that
