I just turned 14 and I'm pretty sure that RPE is still available for my age. I used to have RPE when I was around 10 or 11, but I didn't expand my palate that much and my ortho did the bare minimum since my airways are still restricted, my tongue doesn't comfortably fit, and my width is 40 mm. I know that they both have the same effect, but will Marpe or RPE be more aesthetically pleasing? Or will they have the same effect?

yo answer the question big dawgs

whats the difference between them though?
one is anchored to teeth use for children in this case it's tooth borne rpe, mse is a model of marpe so it anchors to ur bone directly, but the catch is that mse or any marpe model is always gunna be more expensive but high roi, so if u go the money insist on getting mse or stright up marpe for maximal expansion, but this is mostly determined by the status of the midpalatine suture, so just visit the ortho doc.

Do you think I would still be available for RPE at my age?

No not at 14 you need an MSE it should be same price as RPE or a little more. You won't get any aesthetic results from your RPE flaring your teeth nigga
