It's used for hair loss prevention, a lot like finasteride but it has a different mechanism of action.
It is a topical anti androgen. Basically you saturate the scalp with it and the RU binds with androgen receptors in the scalp instead of DHT, Testosterone etc...
With fin, there are less andorgens for RU to compete with so it makes RU more effective in doing its job.
Therefore, it should be used in combination with fin.

bro just use some ai alongside fin , better then to use less researched stuff like ru :lul:

what's ai? RU is less medically documented true but it had better results in phase 2 trials than even fin.

What's its mechanism?
theres no way u just went in depth about ru like its some cancer solving advice but cant figure out what ai does:lul: this site is a fucking joke

I haven't researched it yet. No problem in admitting what you don't know. I understand RU well enough.
I thought aromatase was an enzyme that converted androgens into estrogen.
Surely an inhibitor would just make hair loss even worse?

Wouldn't an inhibitor would just make hair loss even worse? In fact, post menopausal women seem to report hair thinning when on the drug (to treat breast cancer).

There's a Chinese guy I know who can sell it to you.

blocks dht only on scalp
Technically RU has a lower binding affinity with the androgen receptor than DHT.
That's why you have to saturate the scalp with it. Basically overwhelm the androgens.

It had great results in manque monkeys which bald like humans do. Very interesting case study.
I've not see a single good solo result from it though. And that study is quite old.
