I was recently watching a documentary about Russian POWs stuck in Ukraine and was astonished at their varying appearances and phenotypes.
Each and every soldier had a unique and distinct look.
Russia because of its location and size has insane diversity. There are more than 200 ethnic groups in Russia. There is no "typical" or average face/Ethnicity in the country. There are Tartars, Armenians, Chechens, Estonians, Bashkirs, and Ingush. Entire villages full of redheads like Udmurts. This list can go on. All with their own culture, their own stories, their own heritage, languages, etc. Honestly, Russia has insane cultural and historical value. It's a gold mine full of amazing people
