I have been using Salicylic acid for about a week, It has been good but it causes some irritation, Any suggestions?

What brands do you use? I'm using a 2% scrub rn and it's done wonders to get rid of and prevent pustules on my nose and chin, but doesn't get the whiteheads.

i use a skin ceuticals one, works but the its 5%, very harsh. Im thinking of switching to The Ordinary (3%)
