SARPE or Invisalign?

I have an eight teeth smile with no buccal corridors, which should be ok, but i have an unfortunate resting lip width of only 4.5cm. When i tried to mew, my tongue didn't fit my upper palate.

My goals are having 5.5-6cm resting lip width and a ten teeth smile. Would Invisalign (or damon braces, from what i've seen) be enough for these goals, or would SARPE be needed?

My age at the current moment is 17.

How about the good old method?

honestly go with SARPE

I did not know it was possible to have narrow palate with no space for tongue at the same time with many teeth showing

invisalign does not expand the dental arch

do you have teeth crowding?

My smile has become wider with invisalign, I don't know all this terminology but I assume that means my dental arch has become wider. I have gone from around an 8 tooth smile to a 12 tooth smile, just about.

was your dental arch wide in the beginning? it could have been wide but the way your teeth were positioned made it appear as an 8 tooth smile

I have the same issue, 9 tooth smile. But tongue doesn’t perfectly rest rest on the roof without it hitting teeth causing scalloping. Top and bottom right teeth are solid, no crowding and good expansion. But bottom left has crowding and top isn’t as expanded as the top right :feelswah:

I wonder if MSE would be a better option than SARPE because i think a wider upper palate wouldn't fit my skull @NegativeNorwood

Both MSE and SARPE will widen your palate. MSE can also expand your cheekbones, SARPE will not do that.

But MSE can create asymmetries and widen your nose like a nigga, correct?

SARPE is for oldcels, you should get the expander. Also invisalign or braces do not expand the palate, they can increase your smile teeth count only if the molars are leaning inwards. Invisalign is better than braces for that, but braces can do some as well.
Depends on your overall teeth goals.

SARPE can also do that. AFAIK the device is the key in the expasion symmetry, the more powerful the better
The TPD and the Power Expander are the best options. An alar cinch would minimize the nose widening. You can get a rhinoplasty after if nose becomes too wide.

Then the only true disadvantage MSE has is the asymmetry, but it also has the benefit of widening the cheekbones, no?
Is there an alternative for cheekbones, not counting fillers and implants?

Yes, but IMO the widening it does is not very aesthetic. It usually gives bigger cheekbones AFAIK. It won't give you true high set, model-esque cheekbones like the ones Sean O'pry or Vasiliy Stepanov have.
Lefort 3 (very risky and unaesthetic scars) and Zygomatic Sandwich Osteotomy are the alternatives. Best procedure for true high set, model-esque cheekbones are properly designed custom implants IMO.
PS: SARPE can also be asymmetric, the main factor on it is the expander user. The more powerful, the better. Also, MSE or any type of MARPE requires surgical assist on people over 16 yo to be performed successfully, so it is also a surgery.

What about some type of maxillary ccw rotation/condylar growth that already in of itself repositions the cheekbones higher and then MSE to expand them?

Reshaping/custom implants if you're really fucked (shape, position)

No surgery can replicate natural growth, flared zygomatic arches are keys to male aesthetics

That being said, which custom zygo surgeons do you recommend?

Did you have braces before getting invisalign? Will invisalign help if I already have had braces?
