Progress in saudi arabias 1 5 mile long the line project v0 yj9dyum1e8xe1

Their new "the line" city has been reuced to 2.4-kilometer (1.5-mile) section, as per title, from 170 kms, to be completed by 2030.

What they fail to realize is this is a desperate media attempt to gain traction into tourism due to the dying nature of the oil industry in the next 50-75 years.

these countries know there time is coming to an end of enjoying riches via oil. the investments in the middle east and sub sahara african nations is to replace oil with tourism.

Which is even more idiotic and shows why the Average Saudi IQ is 76

>Tfw when your oil money starts to run dry:forcedsmile:

People portraying the Arab states as some sort of success comparable to Western nations is hilarious. It’s the difference between working hard to create livelihood vs digging up gold in your backyard.

U don't have they be Iranian to Hate Saudis, they are just stupid.

Those Dumfucks conduct all Oil trade in USD, making America Richer, At the same they spend billions on American weapons just to kill their fellow Arabs in Yemen.

These retards don't realise how badly they are being played.

Look at how many failed "mega projects" they have had over the years.

I got Chatgpt to give me a list of failed Saudi mega projects

---

### 1. **King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC)**
- **Announced**: 2005
- **Goal**: A brand-new $100 billion city with 2 million residents.
- **Reality**:
- Still mostly empty desert.
- Only a tiny fraction of the population goal was achieved.
- Businesses never seriously moved in.
- Nicknamed a "ghost town."

---

### 2. **NEOM ("The Line")**
- **Announced**: 2017
- **Goal**: Futuristic $500 billion city, including a 170km long mirrored skyscraper called *The Line.*
- **Reality**:
- Brutal evictions of local tribes (especially the Howeitat tribe).
- Construction extremely slow.
- Estimates now say only **2.4km** (out of 170km) might be built by 2030.
- Tons of internal reports about worker abuse, corruption, and wasted money.
- Basically a fantasy project for PR.

---

### 3. **Jeddah Tower** (formerly Kingdom Tower)
- **Announced**: 2011
- **Goal**: The tallest building in the world (over 1 km high).
- **Reality**:
- Construction stopped halfway in 2018.
- Political chaos (Bin Salman’s "corruption purge") hurt funding.
- Still abandoned and unfinished today.

---

### 4. **Red Sea Project**
- **Announced**: 2017
- **Goal**: 90 luxury hotels, 50 resorts across 22 islands.
- **Reality**:
- Progress is slow, massive cost overruns.
- Critics say it’s just "luxury tourism for rich Westerners" β€” won't help Saudi citizens.

---

### 5. **King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project (Riyadh Metro)**
- **Announced**: 2013
- **Goal**: Huge metro system in Riyadh.
- **Reality**:
- Repeated delays.
- Originally promised to open in 2019 β€” still not fully operational in 2025.
- Costs ballooned to $22 billion.

---

### 6. **Entertainment and Sports "Giga Projects"** (Qiddiya, Diriyah Gate)
- **Goal**: Create Disneyland-style parks, theme parks, sporting events.
- **Reality**:
- Poor planning, little local demand.
- More PR for "Vision 2030" than anything practical.
- Billions are spent trying to "copy-paste" Western culture without real market fit.

---

Saudi Arabia keeps announcing insane "Vision 2030" projects, but they mostly:
- Suck up billions of dollars.
- Don’t produce serious returns.
- Are often delayed, abandoned, or quietly downscaled.
- Serve as *PR to impress Western media*, not real economic development.

The Average Saudi is poor, despite all the oil

Saudi Arabia GDP per capita = about $27,000 USD

Australia GDP per capita = about $65,000 USD

Even poorer parts of Australia (like rural towns) often have better healthcare, education, and infrastructure than the average Saudi city.

Plus, Saudi Arabia has:

Higher unemployment.

Higher wealth inequality.

Less real opportunity (you need royal or tribal connections to get ahead).

They do all this to impress westerners when westerners hate them and think they are primitive sand niggers who kill Indian slaves to build worthless slop projects.
