most people when trying to decide what they want to do in life -- especially in something as important as their future -- want stability so that they comfortably go towards it without much risk. school isn't necessary to success, but it gives the safest route to whatever you may want + helps you find your future career/passion. the whole point is about simplicity and stability: you go to school, find what you like, and it gives you a direct path towards it as opposed to trying to get into a career some alternative risky way.
also most high-paying jobs require school so there's that

i guess you can go your own way and start a business, but there's a cold reality to it. If you think you in your late teens or early 20s can start a business against people who have more way more knowledge and experience (who went to school) than you then you're fucked.

If you are doing it to please your parents, then it's kind of stupid.

Not interested in school and I don't really get F's or D's anymore. I am just slightly passing with C's, I was kind of raging with this post I still agree in school as a place to learn basic things but I feel like its a bit of a waste of time learning about stupid shit and the teachers should chill tf out.
