I am 15yo and I’m 5’10 with moderate scoliosis, i was wondering if a surgery would increase height and also I heard somewhere that because I have scoliosis my bones are malleable and I can do stuff like mewing and heightmax easier is this bs? Also how will it affect workouts

I also have scoliosis with a 20% deviation. I’m 6 feet tall barefoot and 22 years old. My specialist told me that surgery might increase my height by a maximum of 1 inch, but again, it really depends on the individual case.

As for doing height exercises, go ahead—they’re beneficial. However, the genetic factor will always play a more significant role. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 17, and at that time, I was 5'10".

On the other hand, Usain Bolt also has scoliosis, and he’s very tall. Scoliosis doesn't affect growth to a significant degree, and you shouldn’t expect surgery to increase your height by 2 or 3 inches.
