People be overrating currents "OHH BRO IT WILL DRAG YOU UNDER THE WATER" bro i just swim parralel to the land and i get out of it easily

but yea if u try to swim directly against it u cant it will bring u

if u dont swim parallel and just stay there like a retard it'll carry you to open sea and long distances, then either the nigga will panic or drown, or the retard will have to swim back to land which can take hourss, it can bring you to meters away maybe kilometers if u dont do anything quick enough but itll be easy to notice when ur in a current

i dont understand niggas that die from it, theyre just dumbasses who try to swim against the current like you're just tiring yourself for no reason

but yea it can push you into the ocean but only if u dont take action

What sea are you doing this? I regulary went to swimming lessons from 2014 to when the pandemic started(around 3 times per week and for 2 to 3 hour) since then i swam for like 10 times a year seriously. But this year i want to go to a pool in my new town and swim like a crazy man atleast 2 times a week. This is for some context that i am a little above average in swimmimg. But at the Black Sea it is a lot more difficult. I have never had a current but i am scared of them like a 40 year old vegan of meat. I just wanted to say that these things are dangerous unless you are a very good swimmer( me in 2 years)but even then i think i will be scared. Do not take this the wrong way but i ve seen your threads/replies you seam like a good men high iq and i would like to tell you to be extra carefull. What do i know maybe your sea is different. Stay safe nigga

every year a dozen or so people here die due to rip currents but they're always foreigners, mostly germans.

ironically enough every single time there's some hissyfit about teaching people how to swim, which doesn't help because they're not natives.
