You can find cheap in Europe too, or South America sometimes, or etc. You aren't limited to Asian countries for affordable living.

There are some gentrified cities that are nice to live for example bangkok
Oh yeah, nothing says “paradise” like gentrified cities with overpriced lattes and tourist traps. Bangkok's great, as long as you don’t mind paying extra for that "authentic" experience!

SEA is hot & humid as all hell. Plus, there are monsoon rains most of the year. The women also look fucking weird. And who wants to speak pigeon English and sign language with everyone all the time? That'll get old real fast.

That's the price you pay to live in a safer area with less crime, better infrastructure, with better access to public services and better medical facilities in the case you get sick. Even if you pay a 2x premium on everything including housing it's still much cheaper than the US by more than tenfold for the same stuff.

That's true, Spain、Portugal, eastern Europe, Argentina are all good options but I like SEA better cause it's easy to hop between a bunch of countries.

There are tropical areas in SEA it's not all jungle. As for the women I don't really care about slaying in sea.

Singapore MOGs it makes Australia look like a third world country

Which parts of Portugal are affordable? I was trying to learn Portuguese a while back and might give it another try if it's under 1000 month for a small apartment or something like that, or cheap AirBNB-ing there or something. That or some more "2nd world" European places.

Yeah, true, but paying a premium for safety and better services doesn’t exactly scream "living the dream," right? It’s like paying extra for a fancy gym membership, but then realizing you’re just paying for the privilege of avoiding the chaos. I get it though, the US is like a whole different financial black hole. At least you’re not draining your wallet on everything, but it still feels like a "luxury tax."

Because you associate SEA with only Thailand and Indonesia, which are destinations for drug addicts, clubbers and pedophiles ( Harsh truth most people going to these places are degenerates )

Singapore is safer, has better infrastructure and more decent people than most first world nations. Malaysia is an amazing country to retire in + extremely safe too.

Only realistic problem is the weather

Oh, Singapore’s all safe and clean, sure. But calling it "better" than most first-world countries? Feels like living in a glass jar where everything’s perfect but soulless. Malaysia’s nice if you’re a retiree looking for peace and nothing else. It's basically the definition of boring though. And the weather? Yeah, that tropical charm is just code for "prepare to melt every time you step outside."

That's literally 3x cheaper than shithole USA, where shared fucking dumps are > $1,000 USD quite often. Time to seriously consider travel.
900k in an index fund making 2% a year is enough to live there indefinitely, for sea even cheaper like 500k

Imagine a country with the GDP of France & UK in a city the size of berlin.

Yeah, because packing the economic muscle of two major countries into a city the size of Berlin sounds like a totally sustainable plan. What could possibly go wrong with that much power in one tiny place? Overcrowding, insane traffic, and the risk of turning the whole city into one giant corporate playground where nobody can afford to live sounds like paradise, right?

Sure, it sounds great on paper everything “working” in a super-efficient, well-oiled machine kind of way. But after a while, that “everything works” might start feeling like you’re living in an Instagram-perfect version of reality where it’s all smooth on the surface, but the cracks start to show when you can’t find a spot to breathe. But hey, if you're into that ultra-optimized, futuristic vibe where even the traffic lights know your schedule, more power to you!

(I'm trolling)

Depends, either ways as other users have mentioned thanks to globalism which spread feminist cancer even in turd world shitholes; you have to expect a watered down cyberpunk dystopia like every first world country but with malaria and crime and having to stand poop colored people whilst you per usual, pay them with your soul for such experience

Live comfortable? If you don't like SEA and want to live comfortable, move to Mexico. The visa process is far less expensive and easier, and it's just as cheap if not cheaper to live there.
