I know people who have put 10,000+ hours into it and aren’t even that good at it

those kind of games are so dangerous especially if you have an addictive personality.

imagine putting those kind of hours into working out, learning to code, painting, etc, you could impress tf out of people or even make a career out of it

at least with single player games there’s a clear progression and end, you could play online competitive games for a lifetime and have absolutely nothing to show for it
