because that always says something about the person throwing the insult rather than the target of the insult, it says they're in a bad place mentally and projecting that onto you

See, you can prove this by observing your own experience: if you feel good you never insult anyone, if you feel bad you do

Unless they insult you first, in that case you're justified. But the one who insults first is making a statement about himself.

The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth that helps with speaking, tasting, swallowing, and breathing. It is also essential for forming words and aiding in digestion by moving food around the mouth.

The jaws are part of the mouth, consisting of the upper and lower bones (maxilla and mandible) that hold teeth and help with biting and chewing food. Would you like to delve into the anatomy of the jaw or its functions?

The jaw, also known as the mandible, plays a critical role in various functions of the human body, including chewing, speaking, and facial expression. Here's an overview of its anatomy and functions:

Anatomy of the Jaw

1. Mandible (Lower Jaw):

The largest and strongest bone in the face.

Articulates with the temporal bones of the skull at the temporomandibular joints (TMJs), allowing for movement.

Main parts of the mandible:

Body: The horizontal portion that contains the lower teeth.

Rami (singular: ramus): Two vertical extensions from the body on either side.

Angle: The point where the body and ramus meet.

Condyle: The rounded projection at the end of each ramus, forming the joint with the temporal bone.

Coronoid Process: A triangular projection on the ramus, providing attachment for chewing muscles.

Alveolar Process: The ridge containing sockets for the teeth.

2. Maxilla (Upper Jaw):

A paired bone forming the upper jaw and part of the facial skeleton.

Houses the upper teeth and forms part of the orbit (eye socket) and nasal cavity.

The maxilla does not move; it's fused to the skull.

3. Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ):

A hinge-like synovial joint connecting the mandible to the temporal bone.

Allows for movement of the jaw, including opening, closing, protrusion, retraction, and lateral movements.

4. Muscles of Mastication (Chewing):

Masseter: Elevates the jaw for chewing.

Temporalis: Elevates and retracts the jaw.

Medial Pterygoid: Helps with jaw elevation and side-to-side movements.

Lateral Pterygoid: Assists in opening the jaw and moving it side to side.

5. Teeth:

Embedded in the alveolar processes of the mandible and maxilla.

Essential for breaking down food into smaller pieces.

---

Functions of the Jaw

1. Mastication (Chewing):

The jaw enables the grinding and crushing of food, essential for digestion.

Movement is coordinated by the muscles of mastication and the TMJ.

2. Speech:

The mandible works with other structures like the tongue, lips, and soft palate to produce sounds and articulate speech.

3. Breathing:

The jaw helps maintain the shape of the oral and nasal cavities, which are part of the airway.

4. Facial Expression:

The jaw contributes to facial movements and expressions, indirectly affecting communication and appearance.

5. Support and Protection:

The mandible and maxilla provide structural support to the face, anchor teeth, and protect nerves and blood vessels.

Understanding the jaw's anatomy and functions is essential for diagnosing and managing issues such as temporomandibular disorders (TMD), fractures, or dental problems.

The tongue and the sphenoid bone are both important but serve different functions. The tongue is crucial for speaking, tasting, swallowing, and digestion, while the sphenoid bone provides structural support for the skull and protects the brain. Both are essential, but in different ways.

Can I reduce my pupil size?
Cocaine causes the pupils to dilate (enlarge) due to its stimulant effects on the nervous system. It works by increasing the levels of certain neurotransmitters, like norepinephrine, in the brain, which activates the sympathetic nervous system. This leads to pupil dilation, a condition known as mydriasis. This effect is common with stimulants and can occur shortly after using the drug.

Therefore no, your pupil size will not be reduced

Um not sure this is too hard and multifactorial of a question, i don't know too much. However i'll say that lots of people mistakenly say their cause of asymmetry is a rotated sphenoid because of postural problems. I was in this club too, but i realized it's congenital when i analyzed baby pics. But maybe that's more a question of bodily posture vs tongue, which would actually be a more digestible question tbh

So you’ve talked about how this isn’t attributed so sphenoid
How this can be attributed to tongue posture
But it’s congenital

It depends on the perspective of the person throwing the insults
