Selling soul is if u kill someone for money

By that metric soul is your reputation. Living a life with a tainted reputation is horrible. Imagine being outed at a thief, rapist, or murderer. Truly a gate worse than death. Though if you never get cought you never pay the price. But never getting caught seems statistically unlikely, if you do it a lot.
