just posting to say what I’m planning on doing, lemme know if y’all think it’s retarded.

I’m pretty fat, 5’9.5 and 185. I’d guess I’m 30% body fat. I’ve been trying to cut for a while but struggling so I’m planning on doing weekday no eating at all, weekends eating maintenance so like 2000-2200 cals per day.
Im 17, and my growth plates are open in my legs but not my hand, so my growth is prolly ending soon, doctor guess id be maybe 5’11. Would this eating routine fuck my growth? Even if I took vitamins?

Also, I was on mk667, and yeah it’s pretty garbage I think I only grew half an inch, but I do think it has improved muscle growth in the gym and maybe bone mass a lil.

I’m thinking of hopping on hgh later, would like to know what y’all think about that, ie what routine how many ius, how many weeks etc etc

Jfl yeah starve yourself and see how that affects your growth

Do I think it’s retarded? Yeah. You’re already struggling to stay in a caloric deficit, and your genius solution is to starve yourself? If you can’t stick to a mild deficit, what makes you think an extreme one is going to work better? You’re just making it harder to stay consistent while screwing your metabolism and tanking your micronutrient intake.

Eating at maintenance during the week doesn’t "balance out" the starvation on weekends. That’s not how any of this works. You’ll be missing out on calories, protein, vitamins, and minerals that your body needs for hormone production, bone density, and overall function. You’re wrecking your metabolic rate and probably feeling like shit for nothing. It’s like having an ache in your arm and deciding to chop it off as a solution.

Yeah, fasting gives you a temporary GH boost, but after 24 hours that benefit drops off hard, and your anabolic hormones plummet. The tradeoff isn’t worth it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not even if you’re popping a drawer full of vitamins. You can't realistically out-supplement such a garbage routine unless you're ready to burn money. You know what's smarter? A consistent 500-calorie deficit. Go slightly more aggressive if you're impatient, you'll still lose faster than eating at maintenance five days a week and fasting the other two.

If MK-677 didn’t do work and you used it correctly, then yeah, maybe real HGH is your next option. But Starvemaxxing is just a dumb idea no matter how you frame it.

Also, Mk-677 mimics ghrelin and boosts appetite, so that might be screwing you too.

@Zeekie Ight yeah starving is retarded, what about like one meal a day? Still a decently dramatic caloric deficit, imagining this meal is 1200-1500 cals, but I’d still get the vitamins I need.

Also u seem generally knowledgeable, which vitimains/micronutrients do you think I should focus on for maximizing growth while dieting hard. I was able to consistently do one meal a day for a while, but then I tried experiment with fasting and I fucked my routine.

Starving yourself might. Not cutting regularly though. Too be honest, if youre really active and stick to a 4-5x a week workout routine, 2200 calories should be fine to lose fat pretty quickly. Especially at your age. Starving is dumb and will rekt your hormones. A normal cut will not. Especially if you eat right.

I haven't done OMAD but if done TMAD, if that's even a thing, usually when I'm cutting I reduce to 2 meals a day and it's pretty efficient. If you think you can stick to it it might be worth trying, just of course, know this meal will usually be relatively large and you have to eat very nutritious food since this is the only thing you will eat in the day.

What vitamins/minerals? All of them. By definition micronutrients, are essential things your body needs to function optimally, ALL OF THEM are required, so trying to meet your RDA (recommended daily allowance) is ideal. I use the Cronometer app to track this, this is what my day looked like today:

1746413715234
1746413736380

So, if you want to meet your RDA for all of these consistently my favorite method is just to make sure I'm including these most days: Eggs, beef, dairy, anything with vitamin C, leafy greens (oxalates? just boil it), avocado, shellfish, beef liver, fatty fish.

(Also, please ignore the fact that I went kinda high on the carbs and sugars, today was a run day, I wouldn't have survived)
