I’m scheduled to undergo a septoplasty due to a crooked septum, which has been affecting my breathing. Additionally, I have a rare condition where my nostrils collapse inward when I breathe heavily, preventing me from getting sufficient air. This issue will be addressed with an experimental procedure performed by specialists.
Although the bridge of my nose is structurally fine, I do have a longer, droopy tip that has been bothering me aesthetically. I’m considering discussing with my surgeon the possibility of modifying the tip slightly during the surgery. Has anyone had experience convincing their surgeon to make small aesthetic changes during a functional procedure? I would appreciate any insights or advice on how to approach this conversation.
