Serious question do women prefer lighter skins as opposed to darker?

I see curries on here that complain about their curry skin but then we have white people who are addicted to tanning. So which is it?

yea people with white skin smv mog any other skin color, that's why i try skin whitening products which help quite a lot actually (i am from middle east, not south asia so i am not as dark as them so im not sure curries will have the same results)

People have already used the key word 'contrast' and its correct.
When your hear terms online or through publications/people you should look at these things (unless its specif) of whiteness.
We live in a world ran by white supremacy. So when women say they like 'dark' they just mean a tanned white guy. Or a White Greek/Med. Nothing more. There are other races of men who have 'darkness' in spades and look how its working out for them. How ethnics not see this.

My universal rule for contrast is being the opposite of what ever your race has. If its common for your people to be pale -- then go 'dark'. Get a tan. If its common for your people to be dark -- lighten yourself. Do what ever it takes to stand out/be shiny.
