serious question on dht

i’m 17 and i’m still in puberty like i’m 17 i still haven’t grown a beard but is it possible to still have the benefits of dht while keeping ur hair cuz i have dht sensitive scalp from my dads side and im thinking of hopping on test and ima take it with small doses of ai and want to take test also to get a deeper voice and i know when test is converted to dht that’s what leads to have a deeper voice from what i’ve researched dht has more of an effect on voice then test or i could be wrong let me know im a grey and idk that much abt this stuff

you will undoubtly loose hair when on peds like test or dht. what u can do is get a hairtransplant after, but sadly you will see hairloss

Dht is not a ped. There are also many people who won’t experience any hair loss on moderate- high dose test, or at least not for the foreseeable future, it’s not ‘undoubtedly’ at all. Although, OP probably isn’t one of them.

i have friends who are genetically prone to hair loss and they do well on androgenic compounds as long as they use fin and/or RU58841. fin would be counter productive to DHT benefits though obviously at the hormonal level but if RU is enough to protect your hair, theoretically u should be able to reap the benefits of dht without the hair loss.

i cant speak on it from my own experience though, fortunately ive been genetically blessed with hair genes and can run androgenic compounds with no recession

ofc there are, its still only a very small amount of people, basicly not even worth mentioning, if u take a high dose test it is VERY likely you will not have as good hair as you did before

I'm 21 took dutasteride at 17, don't regret it, I have full head of hair

Yes, T is the main contributor. Take a DHT blocker like fin or learn to train your voice to speak at a deeper tone. Or you can combine both: take T, block DHT, and do some manual voice work.
