Going on a 1 month fast since your body is already burning/consuming its nutrients do you still have to take potassium ? Or no

For fasting, potassium is as one of the essential electrolytes needed to gain proper body functionality. You would pee it out every day or sweat it out. You will be fatigued or feel dizzi if you stop taking it during a fast. I recommend taking also the other essential nutrients like salt and iodine as sea salt, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin B1 due to that you do a long lasting fast for a month.

No eating for 30 days 24 hours a day

How do people do fasts by only drinking water then
Most of them don't do it for a longer then 2 weeks. If you are a beginner this is truly to much for you.

They do it for 2 weeks as a dry fast mostly. Otherwiese they do a waterfast for 3 days.

And remember if you do your fast to break it properly. Don't eat to much and carbohydrate foods due to that in a fasting state your body changes in to a ketonic metabolism where it burns fat as a fuel. Carbohydrates intake under such circumstances would overwhelm your body. Start your break slowly with something that is easly digested and low in carbs like a greek yougurt or a bone broth. Do a break and then pause for some hours. Otherwise you run risk for refeeding syndrome.

I thought you were supposed to eat like watermelon and pineapple and such after a fast?

Just get a lethal injection bro. Free potassium right there.

No this doesn't make any sense. These two are high sugary foods which will spike your insulin.
