Reclaim your physical health by reducing alcohol gradually—consult a doctor if withdrawal risks are high—and reintroduce daily movement, even if it’s just a short walk. Address mental health by seeking therapy (CBT is effective for reframing negative self-talk), exploring antidepressants if needed, and reaching out to support groups instead of isolating. Rediscover purpose by reigniting old interests or trying new hobbies, volunteering to help others, and building on small wins. Challenge the idea that you’re “too old” by remembering that many people found success later in life—avoid labeling yourself a failure. Start tomorrow: call a doctor, walk for at least ten minutes, text or call someone you trust, and remember that any positive step, no matter how small, keeps you moving forward.

suicide is the most liberating choice. The only choice where you have Full control over life and the outcome simultaneously.
Being in control doesn't always result in a good outcome
