Settling EYE vs JAW Debates [EXPLANATION]

(1) When you haven't seen somebody in a long time, and every other part of their face becomes dishevelled but they still retain the eye area, you can distinctly recall a person from it. Not only this, but the associated memories with the person... alongside the emotions you felt during that time.

I believe the appeal from the eye area through this familiarity, despite even being post-descension, matters more than the Jaw area

(2) Eyes are your identity.
(3) There's much more individuality with the eyes, as the number of distinctly differentiable parameters is greater. You've got:

• canthal tilt
• eyebrows
• eyelashes
• eye colour
• eye shape
• IPD
• ICD
• OCD
• PFL
• ...

I highlighted "distinctly differentiable", as there's a (i)higher frequency of discernible adjustments that can be made with (ii)smaller increments, opposed to a fixed lower frequency of discernible adjustments that would equivalently require relatively larger increments. (4)This results in the eye area being more finicky to perfect.

(5) The eye area is the most hereditary part of your face. Most variance of the Jaw in today's society is very largely dependent on environment.

All of this being said, EYE AREA is significantly more superior than JAW, but only if your Jaw is not sufficiently recessed. Past the point of lack of sufficient recession, you benefit the most from having your eye area be the striking feature.

Best way to put this is, if I could pick a feature to not be shit it would be the Jaw. Beyond that point of not shit, for putting my imaginary coins into a feature that is shit -> not shit -> average -> good -> striking, I'll go all in for the eyes.

It comes from both parents. Tends to be a combination of both.

The most hereditary part of the eye area itself is the medial canthus. It's likely similar to a mixture of your parents
