Shaving causes more facial hair?

My facial hair grows unsymmetrical and also only on the chin, but after I have shaved, it grew back faster and also near my jaw and my cheeks. People say this is false, but idk it does work for me. Thoughts?

Yeah, but when I shaved for the first time, almost double the amt of facial hair came back idk why
