Alright lads, bullshit aside for this one. No bonesmashing or related brainlet trash, this post could save some lives.

A man's facial appeal comes from literally two positions: his resting face and his smiling face. Most of us here can at least pull off a decent resting face, but not many men have a great smile. A good smile will CARRY you through life, it's the single biggest thing you can invest in even if you're not particularly attractive. You'll have a higher SMV, you'll be way more employable, you'll visibly separate yourself from lower class people, and you'll have way more confidence in general. Who was the last actor, model, or CEO you saw that had a fuckugly smile?

So you have a shitty smile or jaw alignment, what now? You have two options: never smile + thugmaxx, or do something about it.

If you choose to do something about it, the first step is to SEE A FUCKING DENTIST AND ORTHODONTIST and ask them about options, but this is generally how it should go:

Chipped teeth?
Dentists can fix that shit easily, just ask and get a price estimate.

Crooked teeth?
Braces or Invisalign.
Who gives a fuck how old you are, your life will be drastically improved after you go through with it. This is easy shit.
($3k-$10k)

Fucked up palate?
Palate expanders.
(Up to $3k)

Is it malocclusion/underbite/overbite? Underdeveloped maxilla or mandible?
Prepare your wallet and your asshole, this one can be hard but well worth it. You basically have two options:

LeFort/orthognathic surgery
averages $18k and is horrifyingly intrusive, but results can be fantastic. If you can't watch this video, you probably shouldn't get it:
-or something I've never seen discussed here-
a Fixed Anterior Growth Guidance Appliance (FAGGA lol)
($5-10k)

For my situation, I'm in the works of consulting about getting the FAGGA. My maxilla could definitely use some forward growth, but I'd rather not have my face sawed in half just to gain 1 PSL. It takes some months, but holy fuck it is a brutal hopemaxx for me.

If you don't have the funds for any of these procedures quite yet, this is unironically a good opportunity to build credit scores. Take out a reasonable loan and pay that shit off over months or years, but most importantly: never take financial advice from a stranger on the internet. Do some personal research and consult people who know more than you do, you won't regret it.

I read a few people use FAGGA on their own, without paying a dentist.

I agree that having a good smile is very important in life. It can make you or break you.

Smile is cope. It is all about the jaws. A symmetric wide smile with shit teeth like Viggo Mortensein > Veneer maxxed narrow birdface smile.

I made same mistake. Straightened and brightened my teeth and ended up still looking shit because of how narrow my maxilla is.

BONE > ALL

Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensein.

Also, FAGGA will lengthen your face. AVOID!

My teeth smile looks bad because of low cheekbones and receeded maxilla bringing the postion of the teeth too far back in the face. Imma see if it looks when i get around getting double jaw surgery

Unironically look into FAGGA, I have the same problem. Apparently these growth appliances can aid in slightly pushing cheekbones forward, but I'm not a dentist so don't take my word for it

Im preety sure fagga makes your recession worse by giving the wrong kinda recession, or something. I don't remember really I used to spend so much time looking into all this mewing stuff and I can't be bothered anymore. Also I don't think it makes them higher in that case wich is what I'd need

It's best to use FAGGA if your maxilla is recessed, i.e. you can't fully see your top teeth when you are smiling. That's the whole point of it, it pushes your maxilla forward IF you have the opposite problem of a horsey smile. This appliance is also shown to push cheekbones forward, but you're right in saying it's not for everyone.

Viggo is a good example of when NOT to get a FAGGA, a LeFort would better suit him.
